Welcome to Kiwi Glo (formerly KiwiLights), made with love by Sahtu Press. We take your privacy seriously — Kiwi would never snoop on you without your permission. This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, why we collect it, and how we use it.

1. Who We Are

Kiwi Glo is developed and published by Sahtu Press. If you have any questions about this policy, you can reach us at the contact details in the app or at kiwithegreenkoala.com.

2. Information We Collect

Depending on which features you use, Kiwi Glo may collect or access the following:

a) Microphone Access

When you use KiwiBot’s voice command feature, the app accesses your microphone to listen for your commands. Audio is processed on-device using Apple’s Speech framework and is not stored or transmitted to our servers. Voice input used for AI conversations is sent to the Claude API (by Anthropic) solely to generate Kiwi’s responses. We do not retain your voice recordings.

b) Camera Access

KiwiBot uses your iPhone’s front camera for face detection to enable personalized interactions (such as recognizing when you’re present). This processing happens entirely on-device using Apple Vision framework. No images or facial data are stored, transmitted, or shared.

c) Conversation Data

When you chat with KiwiBot, your text input is sent to Anthropic’s Claude API to generate responses. Anthropic’s own privacy policy governs how they handle this data. We recommend reviewing it at anthropic.com/privacy. We do not store your conversation history on our servers.

d) Purchase Information

If you purchase Kiwi Glo Premium or a KiwiBot subscription, transactions are handled entirely by Apple via StoreKit. We do not collect or store your payment details. We receive only confirmation of your purchase status to unlock premium features.

e) Usage Data

We may collect anonymized, aggregated usage data (such as which features are used most) to improve the app. This data cannot be used to identify you personally.

f) Music Services

If you connect Apple Music or Spotify, those services are governed by their own privacy policies. Kiwi Glo only requests playback control permissions and does not store your music library data.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information described above solely to:

  • Operate and improve the features of Kiwi Glo
  • Power KiwiBot’s voice commands and AI responses
  • Enable face-based interactions on-device
  • Verify and manage your premium purchase status
  • Understand how users engage with the app to guide future development

We do not sell your data. We do not use your data for advertising. Kiwi Glo products are ad-free.

We do not maintain servers that store your personal data. On-device preferences (such as your selected character, night mode setting, and premium status) are stored locally on your device using iOS standard storage (UserDefaults). You can clear this data at any time by deleting the app.

6. Children’s Privacy

Kiwi Glo is designed for general audiences and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will promptly delete it.

7. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have certain rights regarding your personal data, including the right to access, correct, or delete your data. Since we store minimal personal data, most of your data can be cleared simply by deleting the app. For any other requests, please contact us directly.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time, particularly as Kiwi Glo adds new features. We will notify users of significant changes via an in-app notice or an app update. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page will always reflect the most recent version.
