Sniff, sniff! Kiwi and Taro were playing when they smelled something yummy. “What is that wonderful smell?” whispered Taro. They followed their noses. Sniff, sniff, sniff.
But then… WHOOSH! The wind blew the yummy smell away. “Oh no!” said Kiwi. “It’s gone! How will we find it now?”
The friends felt sad. But Kiwi wasn’t sad for long. He had a big, bright idea! “I will build a Super Sniffer!” he announced.
Kiwi opened his toolbox. Clank! He used a big leaf to make a cone. He added a twisty vine. At the very top, he tied a fluffy feather.
They held up the Super Sniffer. The feather wiggled! “Look!” cheered Kiwi. “It found the smell!” They followed the wiggling feather. It pointed past the big rocks. It pointed through the tall grass.
Wiggle, wiggle, wiggle! The feather led them right to Jackfroot’s house. And on the window, they saw it: a big, yummy-smelling cake! Jackfroot saw them and smiled. “Want to share my surprise cake?”
“Yes!” they all cheered. It was the most delicious cake ever. And they found it all thanks to Kiwi’s super-duper Super Sniffer!
