The tools, voices, and creative collaborators behind Wan Hundred Woods.

Sahtu Press, Inc. believes in being transparent about how we make the things you and your kids experience in our apps and on this site. This page lists the creative tools and third-party voices used to produce content within KiwiLights and across the Wan Hundred Woods universe. None of these tools are called at runtime — they are part of how the app is made, not how the app behaves on your device.

Music

Music in KiwiLights is composed using AI-assisted tools and curated by Sahtu Press for use in the app:

  • Google Gemini — full music tracks generated using Gemini's audio tools.
  • Suno — selected tracks co-created using Suno, with human arrangement by Sahtu Press.

All tracks are reviewed and selected by Sahtu Press before being included in the app. Music is bundled with the app at install time; nothing is generated on your device or fetched from a music AI service while you use KiwiLights.

Yooka's Voice

Yooka — the bedtime bot Kiwi built in the app's story — speaks using pre-recorded voice lines generated with ElevenLabs. The voice profile we use at ElevenLabs is also called "Yooka," for continuity. These clips are produced once, reviewed by Sahtu Press, and bundled with the app (and mirrored on our server for occasional asset updates).

Although Yooka is a "bot" inside the app's story, there is no live AI behind the character. There is no chatbot, no speech recognition, and no speech synthesis at runtime — when you hear Yooka, you are hearing a pre-recorded clip, not a generated response. The app does not request microphone access.

Typography

  • Tilt Neon — display typeface, used for headings and the brand mark.
  • DynaPuff — used for navigation and secondary headings.
  • Poppins — body and UI text.

All three are served via Google Fonts under their respective open-source licenses.

Open Source & Third-Party Software

The Kiwi & Friends website and the KiwiLights iOS app are built on top of open-source software, including the CodeIgniter framework, Apple's SwiftUI, and a number of other libraries acknowledged in the source. Sahtu Press is grateful to the maintainers and communities behind these projects.
